Foodies (or not!): Be sure to join us for our very popular... Seasonal cookbook/blog review.

For this event, one member hosts, and each participant picks a recipe from the preselected cookbook/website. Members who RSVP to attend each prepare a recipe in advance and gather together to sample all of the prepared dishes and discuss impressions about selected cookbook/blog. If you feel you are not a cook or don't have time, you can still choose to attend, and, instead, bring two bottles of wine to the event.

Theme: Eve is hosting the "Pinch of Yum" cooking blog review as we exit the winter months, Thursday evening March 23. Select from blogger Lindsay's assortment of "simple recipes made for real, actual, everyday life" and let's share our impressions plus eat delicious food!  In the process we just might discover some recipes to add to our cooking repertoires. No stress: Just fun and delicious! Choose any recipe from Lindsay's Pinch of Yum website: https://pinchof yum.com.

Date:  Thursday, March 23, 2023, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Address: 863 Commonwealth Avenue, Newton

About the author: What started as a casual hobby over 10 years ago in 2010 while Lindsay was working as a fourth grade teacher has now grown into a full-blown business (!!) that reaches millions of people with fun recipes each month, with content that has been featured on The Kitchn, CNN, Refinery29, Brit + Co, POPSUGAR, Huffington Post, The Everymom, PureWow, and more. Lindsay lives in Saint Paul, MN with her husband Bjork and dog Sage. My favorite things in life are a big plate of pad Thai, sunny days, and going to the dog park. https://pinchofyum.com.

For this March review, we are asking that: 3 members bring an appetizer, 3 members bring an entrĂ©e, 2 members bring a dessert, 2 members bring 2 bottles of wine each. Please bring enough food for 12 people.

This event is capped at 10 members. We will also have a waiting list. If you have any questions, please contact Eve at hofert@comcast.net.
