Bring a "plus one!" Bring a dish! Join us for our date night cooking review, featuring chef Gordon Ramsay.
Scottish by birth, UK chef Gordon Ramsay was brought up in Stratford-upon-Avon, England, and initially aspired to be a professional footballer. However, when an injury prematurely put an end to any hopes of a promising career on the pitch, Ramsay went back to college to complete a course in hotel management. His dedication and natural talent led him to train with some of the world’s leading chefs, including Albert Roux and Marco Pierre White in London, and Guy Savoy and Joël Robuchon in France.
For our Cooking Reviews, each participant selects a recipe by Gordon Ramsay, then prepares and brings the selected food to the event in serving dishes with serving utensils. Together, everyone samples the delicious food, and discusses impressions about the recipe, the author's style, etc. If you are not "a cook" or don't have time, you can RSVP with the '2-bottles-of-wine' option.
For this review... 2 attendees each bring a salad, 4 bring an appetizer/or side dish, 3 each bring an entree, 2 each bring a dessert, and 2 each bring 2 bottles of dry wine. Cancelations inevitably occur as members' schedules change, so there is a waitlist too.
Attendees: Feel free to bring a friend or partner. All attendees (including guests) need to prepare a dish.
